Review from Kyle Hawkins
The best Clean interface, no BS, just a great music player that works.
great music player, but I'm removing a star for its poor equalizer. it's great to have settings to customize your sound but whatever equalizer settings don't carry over. it's like you tweak the settings and they're gone when the track changes (not to mention the sound is suddenly blasting in your ears when the equalizer shuts off). so you have to turn off and turn the equalizer at the beginning of the next song. please fix the equalizer to remain constant unless manually toggled. otherwise, this app is fantastic.
(Used to be) Fantastic music player I am obsessed with how good it looks since the material design. It's super smooth, fast and it just works! - UPDATE - Changes over the last few months have made it bland, it's no longer the beautiful shuttle I became a fan of... Time to switch I guess.
Please re-add the ability to delete songs (and all the other options) in the 'Now Playing' screen. It makes no sense that they were removed. Having to open 'Up Next' to delete a song is a pain in the arse, ESPECIALLY considering that part of the application is quite bug-ridden. Edit: Can't delete songs at all after the 2.0.3 update.
The Playlist editing is awful, added songs are out of order, even complete albums are somehow shuffled when added to a Playlist. Removing songs from a Playlist doesn't work (it did a couple months ago), still the better music player I hoped it would be.
So there's one problem with this app, the play next option doesn't work at all since the 2.0.3 update!! Please could you look into it? Otherwise, this is an amazing app, I use it all the time, would definitely recommend!
(Was) a fan of its simple design and intuitive operation. Favourite Android music player; used it for years. (Now) it made unnecessary changes. The app is bulkier. I especially dislike the notification in how small the buttons became. The up next panel and animation is bad.
- Reinstated SD card file deletion (Lollipop+)
- Added ability to set, remove, and navigate to a specified home directory when folder browsing
- When a home directory is specified, the back button won't navigate past that directory
- Fixed an issue where back button didn't work correctly when displaying folder browser in tabs
- Added ability to batch remove songs from the queue
