With the Daikin Mobile Controller application in combination with the plug-and-play wireless LAN device and an active internet connection, you can manage the Daikin Room / Light commercial AC (Air-Conditioner) unit from anywhere, offering optimal climate control while saving energy.

The Daikin Mobile Controller application allows you to:

Basic operation
- Set operation: ON/OFF
- Set operation mode: Auto/Cool/Heat/Fan/Dry*
- Set temperature
- Set fan speed*
- Set airflow direction*
- Set special mode*
- Set humidity adjustment*

Status monitoring:
- Monitor room temperature
- Monitor room Humidity*

- Monitor daily, monthly, and yearly electricity usage*

Additional features:
- Unified ON/OFF control and grouped ON/OFF control
- WEEKLY TIMER of 6 programs by 7 days, with each setting of operation mode and Temperature
- Vacation mode, which keep to turn off the all connected unit and is useful for long vacation
- Child lock, which can set the password for each unit.
- Demo mode, with which you can try the application without actual air-conditioner.
- Air purifier control (Set operation mode, Set fan speed, Set Humidity).
- Bills On Demand, Control electricity bill by setting a monthly budget limit. The system notify you when approaching the set limit and optimizes operations to save electricity usage.*

Ratings and reviews

The app is useless. I need to rely on the timers to control student rooms. I cannot be up till midnight every night waiting to turn heating off. Since last update they do not always turn off. I run these to work with my free power and it just constantly costs me money. Personally I would like my money back so I can buy a product that does what it was sold to me to do. The away functions I cannot get to work and this again cost me a lot of money when I ended up in hospital unexpectedly. 😒

Only a couple of years in & the app has decided the unit is unavailable. Numerous weeks of trying turned into months & it still won't connect. Tried deleting & starting again, just returns a "cannot delete". WiFi picks it up but that's as far as I get. A cloud with a strike through is all I get to see, not a lot for the $$$ I spent.

One of the selling points when buying my heat pump was the fact that it was able to be controlled from your phone and was smart home integrated. However this app is rubbish - it's slow and unresponsive even on the same wifi network, and has very limited features compared to those of the remote (basically just choosing your setting and temperature, while the remote has dozens of settings and options). Thousands of dollars spent - I won't be buying anything from Daikin in future.
