Limitations
Most apps allow to get recorded by AirMusic without additional steps!
However, some apps have restrictions:

• Amazon Music works until/before version 24.16.3 (07-09-2024)
• Some apps like Apple Music or PowerAmp are affected by a bug in Android 10/11 and require Android 12+
• A few like Spotify, Pandora or SoundCloud disallow to get recorded by others and require additional steps

Ratings and reviews

It kinda works. Able to connect to multiple speakers using YouTube Music and Airplay from my Android. UX could use some work; it wasn't clear how to actually use it when i started up, but you have to allow sharing an app or your whole screen with the app. After using for a little while, started getting bad distortion and stuttering, and the speakers were very out of sync.

OMG you saved me from the horrible Sonos app. I can't thank you enough. Two minor suggestions: could you give the option to bypass the pop-up asking me to confirm that I want to start casting? (Yes, I'm sure.) And I love having volume controls in the slide-down notification, but sometimes it takes an extra click to expand that notification to get to those buttons, and sometimes they're just there... is there a way to always have those showing?

I'm astounded! After years of not being able to play ALL my music on my sonos system, AirMusic delivered! Promises by Sonos techs and MANY hours spent on the phone with them produced no solution. However, today I read on reddit about this app and I decided to spend the little amount of money to purchase it. After all, if it was another letdown, I wouldn't be out a whole lot of time OR money. But here I am to tell you that it works like a charm! I'm overjoyed!
