Limitations
Most apps allow to get recorded by AirMusic without additional steps!
However, some apps have restrictions:

• Amazon Music works until/before version 24.16.3 (07-09-2024)
• Some apps like Apple Music or PowerAmp are affected by a bug in Android 10/11 and require Android 12+
• A few like Spotify, Pandora or SoundCloud disallow to get recorded by others and require additional steps

Ratings and reviews

Absolutely incredible app and the fact that you support more than just AirPlay too is a win. The best thing that can be done to improve it further is modernize the UI because it looks like a UI you would find from an app in the 2015. Maybe I'm just ignorant on the options to create a UI for an app, but this seems to be a common trend with Android apps versus Apple apps. The UI on Apple apps, even the worst app is significantly better than even the best apps in Android, maybe it's the SDK?

I. I am very excited to try this app so as to curcumvent the increasingly awful sonos app. Hence, i purchased the full version. At first blush, this worked great, streamed effortlessly and seemingly better than the sonos app. I started wjtg Qobuz worked perfectly, then local files via VLC perfect again. Then amazon music unlimited....that is where trouble arose. The developer responded promptly to my concerns re Amazon and now seems to work great 👍 Thx

This app does not work on my Pixel 9 Pro XL when trying to cast to my Homepods. As soon as the lock screen kicks in it stops playing on the homepods and then plays on the phone. Update: The app maker contracted me and explained that it was a Google error that would be fixed. Today I received the January 2025 update and the problem is fixed! 5 Stars!
