About this app

Bookmarker is an application intended for book lovers, but it is not used for reading e-books. It helps users to inform, inspire, read an existing or post their review of a book or magazine and thus form their own electronic reading diary. The bookmarker also allows you to connect with other users of the application who have similar reading tastes or the need to share the reading experience with others.
Users of the application can search for represented bookmarker stories about books (by title, author, genre, ISBN number), rate or share their own impressions of what they read with friends within the application (in virtual reading rooms), and save them in a kind of e-reading diary which they always have with them. In this way, the application completes the reading experience of people of all ages, and is especially suitable for pupils, students and their teachers.
The application was designed, planned and implemented in the City Library "Vladislav Petković Dis" Čačak, with partner libraries from Kraljevo, Leskovac, Novi Sad and Sombor. The development of the application in 2021 was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia.

The Bookmarker application is free to use and for its normal functioning, in addition to a valid e-mail address, no other personal data of registered users of the application is required.

Bukmarker je aplikacija namenjena ljubiteljima knjiga, ali ne služi za čitanje e-knjiga. Ona pomaže korisnicima da se informišu, inspirišu, pročitaju postojeću ili postave svoju recenziju o nekoj knjizi ili časopisu i na taj način da formiraju sopstveni elektronski dnevnik čitanja. Bukmarker takođe omogućava povezivanje sa ostalim korisnicima aplikacije koji imaju slične čitalačke ukuse ili potrebe deljenja iskustva čitanja sa drugima.
