The Association of Companions of Psychoanalytic Arts (CÅP Psychoanalysis) aims to promote a vision of psychoanalysis as an art of connection between the individual and the society in which they are embedded. To this end, it fosters, in a spirit of generative curiosity, collective study and reflection on human time in its historical, philosophical, artistic, sociological, and biographical dimensions, as constitutive elements of a modern psychoanalysis rooted in contemporary society. The association thus strives to bridge the gap in thought created by the perpetual evolution of society and to contribute to the integration of psychoanalysis into the modern world. To this end, it is committed to building a community of fellow researchers and promoting with it, among all audiences concerned by this reflection, psychoanalysts, psychotherapists, students in these fields, researchers or amateurs in philosophy, sociology, literature or theology, writers, essayists and specialists in the visual and performing arts, the activities listed below without this enumeration being exhaustive: organization of conferences, colloquia, workshops for sharing practices and divergent questioning, training, cultural events, thematic exhibitions, promotion and publication of works and communication materials in all forms (posters, web pages, newsletters, newspapers, books, sound or video recordings and montages, multimedia materials…), support for the psychoanalytic practice of its members.
