About this app

Beltr turns any song you own into a karaoke track — no subscription, no catalog
wall. This app is the Android TV display client: it shows word-by-word synced
lyrics on your big screen while everyone sings along.

HOW IT WORKS

Beltr runs on your Mac, Windows, or Linux computer on the same network. The
desktop app handles everything — pulling vocals out of your music, syncing
lyrics word by word, and running the room. Install this app on your Android TV,
open it, and it connects automatically once you enter your room code. Anyone on
the same network can scan a QR code with their phone and become a remote.

What’s new

Beltr for Google TV now speaks Japanese, Korean and Spanish. A romanized line under Japanese, Korean, Chinese and Thai lyrics for guests who do not read the script, pinned per song or on for the whole house. Training wheels, a vocal preset that fades the guide vocal as you lock onto the melody and brings it back when you drop out. Beltr for Google TV carries the same version number as the Beltr desktop app.
