About this app

HazConta Escáner is the app for accountants and businesses in El Salvador that work with electronic tax documents (DTE) in HazConta.

Scan the QR code of any DTE and the app:

• Instantly checks whether that document is already registered in HazConta for the company you selected.
• Looks up its status on the official public portal of El Salvador's Ministry of Finance (Ministerio de Hacienda) and detects if it was invalidated.
• Saves it to the purchases or sales book linked to the right supplier or customer, which you can search or create from the same screen.
• Or just records the code so the backup harvest completes it later.

You can also manage each company's customers and suppliers: search, create, edit and link suppliers that already exist in HazConta.

Any business, accountant or independent professional can create a free account right from the app (30-day trial, no invitation needed). Sign in with your user and choose the company you keep taxes for.

The status of each DTE comes from the public lookup that the Ministry of Finance provides on its official electronic invoicing portal:

The app only displays that information; it does not modify it or issue documents on behalf of the Ministry.

What’s new

Fixed: in the previous version the "Verify DTE" screen did not open. It works now. The app answers the first question: is this DTE already in HazConta? If not, it looks it up with the tax authority and saves it for you.
