The moment you open it, you see it correctly.
There are several formats for videos shot for VR. 180° or 360°? Are the two images side-by-side or one above the other? If it's a fisheye lens, what's the field of view?
Unless someone guesses which format it was shot in, the image will remain distorted or stuck as two images side-by-side.
Hiramie eliminates that need. Open it, and you see it correctly.
No goggles are needed. The screen becomes a window, allowing you to look around as if peering inside.
■ Automatically detects the format
• Equirectangular 180° / 360°
• Fisheye (180° / 190° / 200° / 220°)
• Stereoscopic arrangement (left/right, left/right reversed, up/down, up/down reversed) and monocular
• Regular flat videos can also be played as is
The system views the file name, container declaration, and image content in that order. You can only manually re-select if the format is incorrect. The re-selected format is remembered for that file.
■ Look around in your preferred way
• Swipe the screen
• Tilt the device (gyroscope)
• Use the screen stick
You can also change the viewing style (distortion priority, straight line priority, etc.) and the viewing speed. You can also view while holding the device vertically.
■ No placement restrictions
• Videos on the device (listed by folder, with thumbnails)
• Direct playback from shared storage (SMB / WebDAV) such as a NAS. No download required
• Playback is also possible from other apps by selecting "Open with this app".
■ Video Player Features
• Playback speed, A-B section repeat, resume playback
• Audio track switching, audio delay adjustment
• Subtitles (embedded in video, .srt file on the side, select from file, delay adjustment)
• Playback in a small window (picture-in-picture)
• Switch between files by selecting from a list of files in the same location
• Lock screen rotation, lock touch
■ Secret (hide folders and files)
• You can hide selected folders and files from this app's list in the settings. A password (or biometric authentication) is required to display them again.
This function only works within this app's list. Files are not moved or deleted, so they will be visible as usual in other apps.
■ Free Viewing Limit
This is a limit to check if your videos can be played without problems before purchasing.
You can watch up to 3 minutes total per video without any feature restrictions. Since it counts per video, you can try out as many videos as you want, such as those on your device and NAS, or 180° and 360° videos.
Seeking is free. Moving the playback position doesn't decrease the count, so you can check even long videos to the end.
Used videos are not replenished. Closing and reopening the app doesn't restore them, so videos that have used up their count will no longer be playable from that point.
The limit can be removed with a one-time purchase. There are no additional payments.
■ After Launching
Upon launching, a screen will appear showing the name and destination (device/network). This background is the VR display. It moves when you swipe with your finger or tilt your device.
This screen can be turned off in the settings. If turned off, the list will appear immediately upon launch.
Permission to read videos from your device is only requested the first time you open "Device".
Just open it. This video player automatically detects the VR video format and allows you to watch it without VR goggles.
