Milk Monster is a calm baby feeding tracker for newborns — a breastfeeding, bottle, sleep and diaper log kept by the whole family. Time each side of a nursing session, log a bottle, a nap, a diaper change, a pumping session, a dose of medicine or a temperature: your baby's whole daily routine in one place.
The hardest part of tracking a newborn isn't the logging. It's that at 3 a.m. nobody can remember which side you started on, how long she slept, or whether anyone has changed her since midnight.
Sharing the log with your partner, a grandparent or a nanny is part of Premium — and every new account starts with a free week of it. Logging on your own is free.
Feeding: breastfeeding, bottle and pumping
The nursing timer runs each breast separately — tap Switch mid-feed and you'll see left, right and the running total, so the next feeding starts with an answer instead of a guess. Log a bottle as expressed breast milk or formula, in millilitres or ounces. Track pumping with the yield from each side.
Sleep, naps and nights
Log naps and nights in a tap, and — if you want it — how long it took to settle. Nap predictions come from age-appropriate wake windows, and show nothing rather than a guess when the last sleep is too old to go on. Dark mode is a setting, not a surprise: a 3 a.m. feed shouldn't start with a flashlight to the face.
Diapers, medicine and temperature
Wet, dirty or both, in one tap. Medicine doses and temperature readings sit in the same record as everything else, not on a sticky note.
Twins and second babies
Add another baby and switch between them everywhere at once. Parents of twins are exactly the people who need to know who logged which feed.
Logging that survives real life
Log with no signal — a basement, a hospital room, a 2 a.m. parking garage. Entries save on your phone and sync when you're back. Every entry carries the name of whoever logged it, and edits and deletions stay visible, so nothing in your baby's record is quietly rewritten. One tap turns the day into a plain message you can read and edit before you send it. Any section your family doesn't use — pumping, temperatures, weekly trends — switches off, so there's less on the screen at 3 a.m., not more.
For nannies, night nurses and grandparents
Roles are real: parents can edit anything, everyone else logs and sees everything but edits only their own entries. Set the baby's home time zone and every caregiver reads the same clock, however far apart you are. Work with several families and they all live under one account, each log separate and under your name. And you don't have to wait to be invited: create the family yourself on night one, choose "I'm helping out", and invite the parents — the moment one joins, the family is theirs, every entry keeps your name, and you keep a free seat in the log you started.
Free
Unlimited logging — breastfeeding, bottles, sleep, naps, diapers, pumping, medicine, temperature. Today's summary. Nap predictions. The journal, with milestone photos. Daily notes and the morning handoff. A spreadsheet export for the pediatrician. And the last 30 days of your log, permanently — that's history, not a countdown.
Premium
Invite your partner, a grandparent or your nanny, each with their own login, and you all write to the same log — updated live while the app is open, and there when they next pick up their phone. Premium also opens the big picture: every range of your baby's days charted, growth against the WHO Child Growth Standards for infants 0–24 months, and the shared questions list for the next doctor visit. Plus the weekly summary on the home screen, every day you've ever logged, and a printable well-visit page at my.milkmonster.app.
No ads. No third-party trackers or analytics.
Solid foods and toddler milestones are on the roadmap, not in the app yet — we'd rather say so.
