Q: Is Noom Walk compatible with Noom Weight Loss Coach?
A: It's 100% compatible and works seamlessly -- your phone counts the steps once, but they are shared between the two apps. For best results, make sure you have the latest version of Noom Weight Loss Coach.
Q: Do I need to wear a device?
A: Nope! Noom Walk works with the smartphone you already own and requires no additional equipment at all (unlike Nike+ or FitBit). It even works with tablets!

Seems accurate Have tried it on many different occasions & with different people with different heart rates. It always seems quite close to what I find when checking the pulse manually. Of course, good lighting is required. Would like to compare the graph with a hospital monitor sometime but not in a rush to put myself in that situation. The option to save the graph would be nice.
Tried it multiple times, measured, usually right EVO 3D, works fine in normal conditions (I am impressed), not so great if the light isn't constant / other people walking around the room (but not horribly off). It was generally right on with my timings, kept trying to find some fault with it but was unable to find obviously wrong. I dig.
Wait, this actually works I thought this was a joke or a con. Then I tried the app. What an amazing use of image processing. Very clever, and it's not just a gimmick, it seems good enough to actually use.
