The concept is great, I really love the quizzes for the word genders, as an English speaker that can be really hard to drill since that doesn't exist in English so that's really helpful. The vocab is good too, all useful words and it makes for a great flash card type drill that's easily whipped out for a quick refresher in spare time. The story reader is the one thing that I do struggle with. The idea is great, again, but the speakers are so fast and slur a lot which I struggle with personally.

I've studied Norwegian on Duolingo, Drops, Mondly, Mjølnir, etc. and this is easily the best app I've used. I love that it divides areas of learning into vocabulary, verbs, articles, and prepositions. This really allows you to work on your weaknesses or see your strengths. Each category also has sub-categories based on level! 😍 The dictionary, story reader, audio sentence bank with region-specific dialects are also incredible features. As a language teacher, I really appreciate this app!

I have recently downloaded it but it deserves 5 star! This app includes dialects and real norwegian pronounciation. comparing with Duoling, I'd say that duolingo is just good for keeping you motivated and commited to learning but this app is more helpful in learning norwegian conversations as you hear the right dialects you want to understand. I suggest giving it a try!
