The best amongst the rest After having used nearly 8 android based pedometers all very inaccurate, this Pedometer seems to be the most accurate ever. Only advise is to input accurate measure of your stride , Calibrate it by trial & error for at least 3 to 4 times and then it should give you a perfect step count (2 or 3 steps here & there).
Best one so far I like this pedometer app the most so far because it's simple and straightforward where some are complicated and don't work. You can listen to music and make play lists in the app. Only thing that's annoying is on the newest one it's in my Notification center and won't go away even when the app isn't running, which is just making clutter. If that changes 5 stars.
Great! Please make a PRO version! After trying (and uninstalling) dozens of pedometers, finally one that is cleverly built, works even without GPS, has accurate calibration of steps, built-in music player and all sorts of parameters and customisation! This app is SO good, for people seriously training without the useless fuss of social jokes like Runtastic etc. The only reason I am not awarding 5 stars is because at the moment there is no PRO version for going ADS-free.Please give us an upgrade!
Loving this app. Out of the dozens I've tried, it's the most accurate for distance AND time that I've found. Having run 3 concurrently (including MapMyWalk) each time I try new ones, the best (matched to distance by vehicle odometer readings for the same route) for recording accurate distances and the best for most accurate time (matched by digital watch). I don't particularly want a lot of stuff in a pedometer (like I'm not looking for a complete fitness app, just a good pedometer) but I do want simple and accurate, and so far for me this one is the best. I like that it plays my workout playlist from the app, and will still break in and give progress reports as I walk. Weird thing is the way it gives them. Instead of saying "three point eight nine miles" it says "point 3 point eight nine miles" and the same for speed "point three point 7 miles per hour". Once I got used to that it was fine. Only thing it's missing (for me - my opinion) is a text simple diary section where one could write down the food they've eaten that day (not a calorie counter, just a list), but overall, it's great.
Overrated Tested this app on one of my favorite trails that I know for a fact in just under 4 miles. This app told me I jogged 1.9 miles even though I set it to the most sensitive setting. Uninstalling this app.
I used this simultaneously with a pro pedometer and it's very accurate so download it if you're looking for a good free version. Only 4 stars because you can't shut the robot woman up even if you put your mobile on silent.
