The simplest digital cash book for your cash register – shop, café, market stall, medical practice, tradesperson, or club. Record daily takings in compliance with German accounting principles (GoBD) in seconds, even without internet access.

CASH ONLY
Pennio manages your cash register exclusively. Intentionally omitted: card and debit card payments, bank account and online banking, invoicing, profit and loss statements, and a TSE-certified cash register for the sales counter. If you're looking for these features, we'd rather mention them now than after installation.

"I DON'T NEED A CASH BOOK AT ALL!"
Many self-employed individuals think this – referring to the cash book obligation, which only applies when you're required to keep accounts (from €800,000 in revenue or €80,000 in profit). Those who use the EÜR (profit and loss statement) method are not affected. However, you still need to record your cash receipts: each transaction individually, daily, and in a traceable manner (§ 22 UStG, § 146 AO). If they are missing or can be subsequently amended, the tax office is permitted to estimate (§ 162 AO). Pennio keeps precisely these records.
