About this app

Ever scroll through hundreds of WhatsApp contacts trying to figure out who can see your profile picture? Or panic when you realize your boss might have seen that weekend beach photo? Yeah, we've been there too.

Whatsprivcy fixes that mess. It's basically a smart organizer for your WhatsApp privacy. Instead of mentally remembering as your going through every single contact every time you want to change who sees what, you tag them once—Work, Family, Friends, whatever makes sense—and then create privacy rules that actually work.

Here's the cool part: when you're ready to update your WhatsApp settings, a floating checklist appears right on your screen. It shows you exactly which contacts to exclude. You drag it wherever you want, resize it with pinch gestures, and when you're done, just tap the X button to close it. No more guessing. No more missing someone important.

Never miss a follow-up again. Create reminders for any contact—set a date and time, and get notified exactly when you need to follow up. "

Everything stays on your device. We don't upload anything to the cloud. We don't collect your data. Your privacy matters to us—both in WhatsApp and in our app.

HOW IT WORKS:

Privacy Management:

1. Sync your contacts (one-time permission)
2. Tag them into categories (Work, Family, Friends, etc.)
3. Create a privacy profile (choose what to hide and from which groups)
4. Activate it—the app opens WhatsApp settings and shows you a floating checklist
5. Follow the list, tap contacts as you exclude them in WhatsApp
6. Close the overlay when done

Reminders & Alarms:

1. Tap the Reminders tab
2. Create a reminder for any contact with a specific date and time
3. Get notified exactly when the reminder fires—works even if the app is closed
4. Perfect for follow-ups, callbacks, or any time-sensitive action

That's it. No complicated setup, no confusing menus.

PERMISSIONS (we know you want to know):

Contacts: We need this to show your contacts in the app so you can tag them. Everything stays on your phone—we never send it anywhere.

Notifications: So we can tell you when new contacts are added. Notifications for your new privacy profiles or reminders. That's it.

Overlay Window: This is what makes the floating checklist work. It only appears when you activate a privacy profile. You can drag it around, resize it with pinch gestures, and close it anytime with the X button. It doesn't block WhatsApp—you can still tap everything normally. It's just a helpful guide that sits on top.

Alarms: Used for two core features: (1) Reminders you create for follow-up actions with contacts—these fire at exact times you set, like alarms. (2) Temporary privacy profiles with expiration dates—we'll notify you exactly when they expire so you can revert settings. All alarms are user-initiated—you create them explicitly.

OVERLAY COMPLIANCE:

The overlay window follows Google Play policies. It only shows up when you explicitly activate a privacy profile—you're in control. There's always a close button (X) in the top-right corner. You can drag it anywhere on your screen. You can resize it with pinch gestures. It doesn't interfere with WhatsApp—you can tap and scroll normally. It's a simple checklist tool, nothing more. When it's active, you'll see a notification so you know it's running.

Requires Android 6.0 or higher and WhatsApp installed. The overlay permission is a one-time thing—you can revoke it anytime in your phone settings.

We update the app regularly based on feedback. Found a bug? Have an idea? Let us know. We actually read your messages.

Download it and see what we mean. Your WhatsApp privacy shouldn't be this complicated.
