About this app

SevenGrid is a calm, simple weekly habit tracker: 7 days. 1 grid. Your whole week on one screen, every habit one row, every day one tap. Mark what you did and move on.

REFLECTION
Tracking habits is easy. Reflection is the hard part. At the end of the week: three short prompts and your mood, two minutes. A tiny weekly journal. Skip a week and nothing breaks. Old entries resurface now and then.

PAY ONCE
Free to start: 3 habits, your last 4 weeks of history, the full week grid, 2 themes. Pro is a one-time purchase: unlimited habits, your full history, per-habit reminders, the shape of your week, and all 20 themes. Pay once. No subscription. Ever.

NO STREAKS
Most habit apps punish a missed day. SevenGrid is a habit tracker without streaks: a missed day is just a gap, not a reset. There is no chain to break, so coming back is the easy choice: consistency without the pressure. Sick or just resting? Skip the day: a quiet stroke marks the cell, the reminder pauses, and the week doesn't hold it against you. Rest can be a rule, too: set a habit to skip every Friday, automatically.

WIDGETS
Your week on the home screen: five widgets show the full week grid, a Today checklist, a clock with your day beside it, a year heatmap, or a single habit. Check off today with one tap, without opening the app. Optional switches: show today's count against a target or limit, hide habit names, and choose how much of your background shows through.

GOALS THAT FIT REAL LIFE
Not every habit is daily. Gym three days a week, reading every day, water three times a day: you choose the rhythm for each habit, and the grid keeps up. Build your routine at your own pace: one packed Tuesday never ruins anything.

AT MOST
Some habits are about less, not more: cutting back, or gently breaking a habit. Set a goal to “At most”: at most 1 coffee a day, takeout on at most 2 days a week. Each tap adds one. Success is staying at or under your limit. Going over is never red.

THE SHAPE OF YOUR WEEK
Statistics, the calm way. SevenGrid reads your grid and turns your progress into quiet sentences: which day carries your week, when you rest, how your mood and your active days move together. Insights without numbers (Pro).

YOUR DAY, YOUR VIEW
One screen, two views: the full week grid, or a Today view with just what is still open. A single quiet daily reminder, if you want one. Per-habit reminders (Pro) carry a check-off button right in the notification, and each weekday can have its own time: early on Monday, late on Sunday, quiet on the days you skip.

THE QUIET EXTRAS
- Amounts and duration: log km, reps, liters, or hours per day, just for the record, never a target
- A note per day: long-press a cell, jot down what happened
- A daily local backup: CSV files with an open schema, saved to a folder you choose. Survives a reinstall and restores on a new phone, no cloud needed
- Share a week as a calm image. You choose which habits go on it
- Icons and colors: give every habit its own look
- 20 hand-tuned themes: dark, light, and true black for OLED, with automatic dark mode
- Shortcuts: a Quick Settings tile opens the app, and a long-press on the app icon adds a habit

LOCAL AND PRIVATE
SevenGrid works fully offline. Your habits are yours: everything stays on your device. No account, no sign-up, no cloud sync, no ads, no usage tracking: privacy by default. The app goes online for two things only: to check your purchase status and to send anonymous crash reports (you can turn those off). An independent Exodus Privacy scan confirms it: no analytics, no ad trackers, just the crash reporter. Try it: airplane mode on, the app just keeps working.

Built by one person who still uses this habit tracker every day.
Offline habit tracker with widgets: 7 days, 1 grid. No streaks. No subscription.

So glad I found this! simple user interface, gets to the point with the tracking. one time purchase not subscription. the other app I was using wanted £2.50 a month! madness. I would like an easier way to look at the note I add. I like that it shows an indicator dot that there is a note. but as far as I can tell I have to long press to see it but then it brings up the whole screen to edit it. I just want to see the note. I suppose on a pc it would be hover with a mouse. anyway, great app!

Sorry it took me a while to reply here. You were right about the notes, and I found a way to just view one without opening the full editor. It lands in the next update. Feel free to reach out anytime with ideas or if something feels off. Thanks for the thoughtful nudge, it made the app better. - Stefan

I find it appealing to not feel guilty when one habit is not completed. There is no need to worry about freezing streaks or reminding oneself that one has lost a certain amount of days due to failure to complete a particular day. The interface is quite straightforward and intuitive, and there is a tutorial available upon initial usage of the app. I find it beneficial to be able to add notes to one's habits, at least for me, I can revisit and understand the reason for my failure. Very good.

Not having to feel guilty about a missed day is the whole reason there are no streaks here, so it is good to read that it lands that way. The notes doing double duty as a place to work out what went wrong is a use I like a lot. Thanks for writing it up so carefully, Sidney. - Stefan

This app is very smooth, with literally no ads. it's pro version is optional but very affordable with only one time payment. Fun part about this app is that it's very minimal, the UI is fantastic, the habit tracking feels very intuitive, plus i noticed that it ask for reflection of the week, that indirectly means you are also doing journal, which is very good idea. This app runs completely offline, no server an all so feels safe to do journal on it too. Fully recommended for habit tracking greek

Thanks for taking the time, Ayush. The weekly reflection is meant to work just the way you describe it, a small journal that does not ask to be one. Offline is part of that, a journal is only worth writing if it stays yours. - Stefan

What’s new

The weekly question can be switched off under Settings, Interaction. A top-right menu gathers add a habit, manage habits, all reflections, shape of your week. Saturday can start the week. Clock widgets pick their own habits and may show the date below. Widgets can show icons only. New: a habit's notes gathered into one chronicle, and the reminder button answers at once. Fixed: widget setup, importing foreign files, long names in the Today list, the day after a time zone change.
