About this app

SongBoard is a modern DJ event planning app for song selection, timelines, and host collaboration.

It is designed for weddings, corporate events, private parties, school dances, and more. DJs use SongBoard to keep every event organized in one place. Hosts use SongBoard as the place to tell the DJ everything they need to know, from must-play songs to the event timeline.

Plan the entire event in one place
- Create events from scratch or start from 100+ templates
- Keep events organized in a clean overview so it is easy to stay ahead
- Build the timeline using a board of cards (Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Grand Entrance, Dinner, Open Dancing, etc.)
- Each card can include the time, songs, notes, and host Q and A so details stay attached to the right moment

Song selection for DJs, hosts, and guests
- Add songs with search, curated songlists, and track previews
- Hosts can import Spotify playlists directly into an event or songlist
- Upload a custom audio file for special edits or rare versions so the DJ can hear the exact version requested
- Set song limits so sections do not turn into massive wishlists

Spotify and DJ software integration
- Export songs from an event (or songlist) to Spotify
- Use SongBoard Scanner (Windows and Mac) to scan your music library and export an M3U playlist you can import into DJ software like Serato, VirtualDJ, and more

Stay in control as the event gets close
- Use permissions (DJ only, DJs and hosts, or public) to control what hosts and guests can see or edit
- Lock events 1 to 3 days before showtime to prevent last minute changes
- Export the full event to PDF for offline backup or easy sharing

Built for solo DJs and multi op teams

AI event planning with Tempo
Tempo is SongBoard's built in AI assistant for DJ event planning. Tempo can help you plan faster and stay organized by:
- Generating complete event structures (like full wedding timelines)
- Adding cards, notes, and planning questions
- Summarizing what still needs attention before the event
- Importing planning files like PDFs and placing key details into the right sections
- Exporting songs to Spotify, inviting hosts, and handling repetitive setup tasks

For advanced workflows, SongBoard also offers an API to manage events programmatically (create events, invite hosts, and more).
