We are six friends, who meet up once a month for an Indian curry at different locations every time. During our restaurant visits we experiment with the different dishes, lagers and interact with the staff as much as possible. Whilst there we catch up on how our sports teams have been getting on, our hobbies, our work lives and our families with general banter thrown in for good measure.
While in lockdown we’ve all realized how valuable our friendships, socializing and eating out truly is and how much we all took this for granted.
Once we understood the importance of our meet ups we started our curry club WhatsApp video calls to keep in touch. We then took it a step further and set up zoom calls where we would order Indian takeaways local to our areas. We would sit and eat our curries together with a beer discussing the tastes and aromas individually.
We had always spoken about the idea of would anyone be interested in our journey and the reviews we were putting together. That’s when “The Ruby Murray Club” was born!
We all love to support local businesses be it a local bakery, brewery and so our passion to help Indian restaurants can now benefit our followers and restaurant owners even further.
We will bring you our honest opinions and reviews along with video footage of us on our journey. Join and watch us as we aim to visit as many Indian restaurants in the UK starting in South Wales. We hope to encourage you to get out with your mates and help you decide where to go for your next Indian as we discover WHAT'S HOT RIGHT NOW!
