About this app

Enter a word or short expression, compare editable card options for different meanings, and save one or several cards to your deck. To create flashcards in bulk, paste a word list.

Each AI-generated flashcard can include a translation, contextual example, definition, part of speech, and—where supported—a written pronunciation guide. Edit any detail before adding the cards you want to study.

Study with FSRS spaced repetition

Flexi uses FSRS-based scheduling to plan reviews based on how well you remember each card. Difficult vocabulary appears more often, while familiar words return at longer intervals, helping you remember new words long term.

Listen and practice pronunciation

Hear words, translations, and examples with text-to-speech. Flexi can also generate written pronunciation guides: IPA for English, Spanish, German, Dutch, Czech, Finnish, and Romanian; kana for Japanese; Pinyin or Zhuyin for Mandarin Chinese; and Jyutping for Cantonese.

Import and organize

Bring your existing flashcards from Anki, Quizlet, or CSV files. Create cards in bulk, organize vocabulary into custom decks, and edit imported content to match the way you study.

Keep useful vocabulary close

Start with curated English vocabulary sets or create your own decks. Use Quick Notes to save words you encounter in videos, books, lessons, or conversations and turn them into flashcards later.

Track your progress as you study and use Dark Mode for more comfortable reviewing in low-light environments.
