I've been enjoying this app for 6 months. The quiz to determine your level is very accurate. The stories and articles are engaging, and the vocabulary feels useful. I also like the voice acting for the audio. The quizzes are helpful to determine comprehension, and there is a full translation after the quiz to check understanding and grammar. It's been worth the money.

The price is a bit hard to swallow at first, but this app is perfect for someone like me, an intermediate learner that struggles with listening comprehension. Each of the stories is narrated by a real person, and regularly listening to the stories without looking at the script has helped me immensely. The script is also very helpful, I'd imagine, for people who have reading/spelling as their primary weakness.

Having lots of story and article options is nice. I liked the ability to make flashcards. However, the audio for those cards got stuck repeating itself and there was no stopping it. Waiting for it, nope. Pressing button again, nope. Exiting app, nope. Pausing player in pull down menu, nope. Doing that second time, nope. Dismissing notification all together, FINALLY. I'm uninstalling this app. I really wanted to like it, but it has bugs, and is too far above my level.
