Remember this Acrostic: "Happily Our Boats Can Sail the British Virgins." Remember the first letter of each when doing your sail trim. These are your tools for adjusting your sails. This App will not tell you what is wrong, however it gives you the right things to do based on your conditions. Make one adjustment then watch your boat speed to see if you speed increases or decreases.
Compact Knowledge: Sailing is an app targeted at sailing beginners and intermediates who want to learn or remember the very basics of sailing.
Containing all important information like terminology, tacks, basic maneuvers, right of way rules and information about knots, it is the perfect way to aid learning, improving and remembering crucial details and necessary steps.
Currently the app features four basic guides that will help you remember the sailing terminology like port and starboard, leeward and windward and the different points of sail. It also features four different basic maneuvers that every sailor should know - docking, jibing, tacking and the man overboard rescue turn. All decisions in sailing begin with knowing where the wind is and you don't have to be on a boat to learn. If you have a fan in your house you can learn to sail. We may not be able to see the wind with our eyes, but there are so many other ways to see the wind that you will be amazed once you get it.
This App can teach children and adults the basics of understanding the wind and how to correctly turn the boat and adjust your sail. Visit the website for additional materials.
Please note, this is not an all inclusive training course. It's focus is on showing you how to see and process the invisible wind and make good decisions without feeling out of control on a boat.

Don't set sail without viewing this expertly produced series. - People Magazine. Based on the famous book and narrated by the author himself, John Rousmaniere, these award-winning programs are some of the most outstanding in the field. Featuring World Renowned Sailing Expert John Rousmaniere.
Featuring world renonwned sailing expert John Rousmaniere. This is the most complete and detailed instructional app ever made about sailing, from the first moment you first climb aboard, to dropping anchor. While this program deals with a voyage made under sail, many of the techniques demonstrated apply equally to power boaters, to whom seamanship and navigation skills are as important as to the sailor. Every maneuver and technique is demonstrated clearly with plenty of close ups and action replays. Subjects covered include, basic navigation and planning a cruise, sail handling and sail trim, anchoring and docking, steering and boat handling, safety at sea, what to wear, moving around on deck, knots and rop work and much more.
This App supports you in training the questions you get asked in the written test. The test has to be taken in the German language. Therefore the questions in this application are German as well.
All questions have to be answered correctly five times. If a question gets answered wrong, one correct answer is subtracted again. The SRC trainer remembers when you have answered a question the last time. It extends the interval after which a question is asked again after each correct answer. This ensures, that you learn the questions effectually.

3 Formulas To Create SAIL
We are a couple of college grads on a mission. We've been told that the money is out there, yet many of us never find it.
We've created SAIL - The Simple Scholarship Search App from 3 formulas
Debt = unhappy people :(
Our goal is to dramatically decrease the amount of debt students have after graduating college.
more scholarships = less debt
As we prepare for the mission before us. We ask that you join us in our efforts to increase the amount of scholarships that are awarded to students seeking higher education by using the heck out of our App.
Which brings us to the third formula :
Scholarships = happy students :)
To get students to go to school for free by providing an easy way for them to find and win scholarships.
