When&Where is an app that makes women's lifes safer. It obtains your location on real time, and if something happens (for example, if you stop or you are not getting near to your destination), it asks you if you are okay. If you aren't, it calls an emergency contact or the emergency services (112), depending on the option selected by the user. You can save your favorite routes and do them again when you need.

TAKE ME TO: is a mode where you set a destination (an address or a place) and start walking towards it. The app starts updating your location and your distance to the destination. If, after some time, your distance to the destination is not decreasing, an alert is raised and you have to confirm that you are safe or call your emergency contact in case you are not safe. In the end, you can save the path you walked in case you liked it, and store it for the ¨FAVOURITE ROUTES¨ mode. To stop this option, click on the ¨FINISH ROUTE¨ button.
START: is a mode where you do not set a destination, like when you just go for a run or for a walk. Unlike “TAKE ME TO...”, this mode does not check the distance to a destination but it continues updating your location. The alert process is the same as the other mode: it checks if you are okay when it detects an anomaly (for example, if you stop walking). If everything is going right, you have the possibility to save your route. To stop this option, click on the ¨FINISH ROUTE¨ button.
FAVOURITE ROUTES: this mode lets you choose routes you like or use frequently, such as the way from school to your home. In this mode, you select one of the routes and then start using it just like if you were in the ¨TAKE ME TO...¨ mode.
CAMERA: The function of the camera is to have the possibility of taking a photo in case you are not safe and then, it can be sent to your selected emergency contact.
CALL 112: In an emergency situation you have the option to call directly to the 112, via the red button located in the home page . If you find a problem (For example: when there is fire, in a rob, etc.), this button will help you as well.
- Currently, only the CALL 112 button calls the emergency services. For the other modes, it is needed to set up an emergency contact.
- Since this is the 0.1 version, no direct phone calls are made nor text messages are sent without user confirmation.
