About this APP - This APP facilitates a structured way of collecting volunteer data, maintaining a database and monitoring contributions made by volunteers.
What is the VMS APP? Initially, all the current volunteers are onboarded on the VMS app by submitting an onboarding form. Onboarding of current volunteers is based on the activation of the link provided to them through email notification. New volunteers must undergo a review process before being approved as volunteers. There is a provision to deny approval based on certain criteria.
What is the process for enrolment? There is no separate enrolment prior to registration. Volunteers can register directly on the VMS App if they intend to participate in SSSVV activities
What is the registration process? Once the current volunteers submit the onboarding form by clicking the activation link, the database is created automatically. For new volunteers, after completing the initial registration form, SSSVV conducts a review process, and then they are approved. A database of new volunteers is also created automatically.
Quarterly Contributions and Availability - All onboarded volunteers are expected to submit quarterly reports detailing their contributions for the period, using the designated submission form. Further, the APP requires them to indicate their availability for the next quarter.
Bulk Communication - Volunteer database also has a provision to send bulk emails by the SSSVV leadership to the entire volunteer base or team-wise on important announcements, new initiatives, etc.
