Appy Weather is the most personal weather app because it's been designed for humans by someone who actually checks the weather too. By summarising the weather in plain-spoken & user-friendly language via its one-of-a-kind Timeline screen, Appy Weather sets itself apart from all other weather apps — no more scrolling long lists to figure out the weather as it's now summarised for you in a few lines and makes checking the weather fast, easy and actually fun! That said, there are more conventional hourly & daily views if that's what you prefer.

Appy Weather's hyperlocal accurate forecasts are powered by AerisWeather, Dark Sky, OpenWeather and Foreca.

« It’s the dead-simple weather app you’ve always wanted. » — Fast Company

« It’s the perfect at-a-glance overview of the weather for the day. » — Gizmodo

« Appy Weather makes it easy to stay on top of the elements with delightful design and forecasts powered by weather source Dark Sky. » — Google Play

« Once a Windows Phone app, it’s finally made its way to Android, where it stands out through an attractive, minimalist and easy to navigate interface that has a look unlike most other weather apps. » — techradar

« It’s rare a weather app impresses us in 2019. The last weather app that surprised us was Today Weather back in 2017, and today, we add Appy Weather to the list of apps. If you were upset over the loss of Weather Timeline, you owe it to yourself to check out Appy Weather. It’s truly that good. » — TechJunkie

It's kinda difficult to mess up a simple weather app but unfortunately this one managed it. The forecast had issues loading, the radar is 1 of the worst I've seen. But putting the simplest features behind a pay wall really put the nail in the coffin for me. Personally I thought the layout was needlessly clunky but that can be subjective. I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone.

I've been using this app for 2 years now. I do like the information presented by this app, and the in-app format is quite streamlined. The use of cards is a good use of some Material Design-ish elements while having its own personality. Highly recommend trying it out. My favorite view is the Precipitation Intensity forecast graph, as I live in a high precipitation climate. Looking forward to the planned widget integration for the graphs!

Thanks so much for the positive feelings Andrew! Your idea is a great one, and I'm happy to confirm it's one I'm already considering to be introduced in a future update. Can't say when though right now I'm afraid. In general, improving the customisation capability of widgets as well as the overall number/variety is a high priority for 2020.

Interface is clean and uncluttered. I upgraded to the Plus version but radar is not visible. Temperatures are inaccurate. For example, Tuesday's forecast shows a high of 91 and low of 30. Local weather sources show high 75/low 50. I emailed the developer but have not received a response at this point.

Sorry Elizabeth for the very late reply. I’ll be emailing you shortly to address points raised and if not satisfied to offer a refund.

What's new

* Widget layout optimisations to reduce possibility of text clipping
* Wrong sun/moon icon should no longer ever be incorrectly showing by default for Dark Sky users (a refresh previously fixed this) – I think I finally cracked this one after managing to reproduce this!
