About this app

Lynket is a unique browser based on Custom Tabs protocol

Lynket slides over the website on top of your apps, enabling you to transition into the website seamlessly. Even if you navigate multiple times, you can always press X to quickly return to the app where you left.

Featured in:
πŸ† 15 best Android browsers of 2018. -Android Authority
πŸ† Chromer gives every app its own custom internal browser. -Phandroid
πŸ† Chromer opens all of your links in a Chrome Custom Tab. -AndroidPolice

Features
πŸ”΅ Lynket works with any browser that implements the Custom Tab protocol. It also inherits the browser's behavior such as tracking protection, shared login info, bookmark sync etc.
πŸ”΅ Web Heads - Lynket loads links in floating bubbles and in background.
πŸ”΅ Article Mode - Grabs only the content of web pages and presents them in a neat interface.
πŸ”΅ AMP - Lynket can find AMP version of page before loading, which can be faster on mobile.
πŸ”΅ Per app settings - Configure incognito mode and secondary browser for apps individually.
πŸ”΅ Minimize and Tabs - Multitask efficiently using Android's Recents screen.

Other niceties:
🌟 Secondary browser
🌟 Favorite sharing app
🌟 Dynamic toolbar color
🌟 Search suggestions
🌟 Use Overview screen to multitask

Performance:
Lynket's implementation of floating bubbles and background loading is vastly superior to other floating browsers due to use of Custom Tabs. It does not hog memory in RAM and respects Androidβ„’ Lifecycle.

Lynket is free and fully open source!

A great app! I have been using it since it was Chromer. I'm not sure if it's possible on Android, but a neat feature would be the ability to open the browser in a multi-window mode by default instead of occupying the whole screen. I'm not sure if it's a bug, but the bottom bar doesn't seem to appear when I'm using Firefox as a custom tab provider. So, I can't access any buttons placed there. I'm on Mi Max using Xiaomi.EU ROM.

Has good features, such as opening the sites in the background. I really like that option - but who really wants to deal with two apps (one's browser and this app), just to visit different sites? Why not add a couple of features, and have this as this as the only browser. Going back and forth is a pain (opening different tabs on your browser and different links on other apps is too annoying).

Been using this since back when it was "chromer". Most times I follow a link it's just to quickly check on it and I'd rather not have a persistent tab in my browser. It also has a nice amount of customizability and let's you swap out different browsers to use internally. Keep up the great work with your updates!
