A way to whitelist sites like Google from text crux would be useful. This app is helpful for if you need to open multiple things and read them later. The text browser renders things quickly, and switching to a normal page is only a button away. Would it be possible to make the URL /search box a password field so that way autocorrect is turned off?
I LOVE YOU SO MUCH FOR ADDING READING MODE. I hate bright white webpages, they destroy my eyes. That's why reading mode has always been crucial to me, and that was the hardest thing to give up when switching from iOS. Thank you so much for the dark theme. I can now read in peace without pain. You're amazing. Please add a donate button :)
Was great, but updated version is not reliable. It fails to open Web heads (they disappear, but chromer never displays anything). Opens wrong URL (a previous viewed one). Also getting repeated Facebook alerts about unauth mobile safari logins.
Edit: Latest Update resolved my issues! Web heads are so fast now, and so far seem to be much more reliable with loading in the background using the aggressive background loading option! Running into issues with the updated Web Heads mode crashing. It immediately crashes upon clicking a link, and chromer fails to launch until a reinstall. The new AMP and Article modes are very nice though, and the slide-out mode still works well. Now, the "Draw Over" permission is enabled, so this doesn't seem to b e permission related.
Way better now! Used to be confusing, thought it was a extension browser of another app, used to thought this app cannot browse itself.
Great browser. This is one of those apps I only notice when it's missing which is the best kind of app. It makes opening links on other apps not feel like a chore.
1.7 is a major release! The highlights are two new browsing modes
1. Article mode: Its reader mode but better. Filters ads, images and just renders the content you are looking for. Try it! Highly recommended.
2. AMP Support: Chromer now supports AMP for even faster browsing. AMP pages are highly optimized for mobile and hence render fast.
3. Chromer now supports native history!
4. Design overhaul.
Other than these, there are major improvements across the board. For full changelog refer in app!
