About this app

Jopsy is a smartphone and tablet compatible app that enables young people (13 years and older) to start an image-based, low-threshold career and education choice. The app motivates you to deal with your own interests and career aspirations.

Jopsy is based on the proven RIASEC model by John Holland, which covers 6 different levels of interest: practical-technical, intellectual-researching, artistic-linguistic, social, entrepreneurial and conventional.

In the app, the young people are offered pictures of activities that they can assess according to their interests using a slider. After you have rated 60 images, you will receive a personal interest profile and an explanation of your three dominant fields of interest. Subsequently, suitable occupational suggestions are made to them based on their interest profile from an extensive Austrian occupational database. The results of the app are scientifically valid.
