Collect unforgettable moments with your digital tour book! Record your hikes and outdoor activities in your personal summit log or tour diary. Whether you’re high up on a mountain or walking through gentle landscapes, you can record your activities at a total of 600,000 destinations worldwide using the hiking app, while collecting hiking badges at the same time.

Summit log or tour book

Record your hikes and outdoor activities as if in a personal mountain diary, hiking log, or tour book. When you reach your hiking destination, open the app and create an entry including text, photo, date, and time. The entry function also works offline using GPS.

Hiking badges

Collect points for official hiking badges in over 100 regions across Austria, Germany, and South Tyrol by logging your tours in your tour book. You'll also receive additional badges for using the app, which reward your achievements and motivate you to keep going. SummitLynx is your digital hiking and stamp passport.
The hiking badges and other badges will greatly increase your motivation for your next hike!

Hiking map & tour planning

Our digital hiking map features official tours in our partner regions and beyond. This makes it easier for you to plan your next hike or mountain tour. The hiking map also helps you find your way around the mountains.

mySOS emergency function

The mySOS emergency function is particularly valuable. You can enter the details of a contact person who will receive a text message if you do not return from your hike at the agreed time. Thanks to GPS tracking, mountain rescue services can find you more quickly in an emergency. This is ideal for anyone who wants to increase their safety in the mountains or who often goes hiking alone.

Statistics

Get an overview of your achievements with your personal mountain and hiking statistics. Which hiking destination do you visit most often? In which months did you make the most tour entries? How many hiking badges have you collected? Your personal statistics show you everything.

* Your smartphone becomes your personal summit log or tour book
* The digital tour book entries include the name of the destination, date, and time (via automatic GPS localization). Add a photo and a personal comment to complete your memories in your hiking diary.
* Entries can also be made without an internet connection! Your entries will be stored temporarily until you are online again.
* You will find over 600,000 destinations worldwide in the hiking app, including peaks, mountain cabins, via ferrata routes, lakes, glaciers, mountain passes, and other points of interest. Your smartphone becomes a hut logbook, hiking book, and digital stamp passport.
* You can enter different types of activities in your digital stamp passport:
hikes, bike rides, climbing tours, ski tours, winter hikes, and cross-country skiing tours.
* Collect hiking badges and other badges with the digital hiking passport and take part in competitions.

I really really like the app! It's a great mixture of logging in, earning badges that make you proud and some nice prices offered by companies throughout the year! I always feel like i am a even more happy than usual reaching a peak and logging in or doing more peaks in one run or i even use the app to determine where to go next. After i had some problems with the email-adress Peter from the support (and CEO?) helped so quick and nice!

A game changing app for hikers, mountaineers, and outdoor enthusiasts. I discovered this app whilst holidaying in Stubai and wanting to track all the hiking achievements. The app recognises where you have visited and matches against a database of known achievements, for example making your first high mountain ascent. I am thoroughly impressed by sheer size of the regions it serves and depth of information. There's a helpful map function too which helps explore regions to see what's available.

It is rather addictive and fun collecting summits and points. Also interesting seeing who else is completing the same summits. I like the feature of being able to add previous hikes. Not had any trouble using the app, any (very) minor issues were quickly resolved. Fantastic team running the app. Will continue to use this app on future holidays.

What’s new

This version introduces a new view of the tour book. This new view displays pictures of your entries more clearly and shows more information about them. You can now also edit or delete entries within the app - a feature that was frequently requested.

We have also fixed a few minor bugs to improve the user-friendliness of the app.
