For example, if you are watching a movie, you might want your phone to be silent, but only for two hours. So you start Snoozer and it will mute your phone during the movie and automatically restore your ringtone.
Or if you are out for lunch you might want to get phone calls but not annoying facebook messages an email, so you can just snooze internet.
There are many more situations where you might want to use Snoozer:
- at a date
- during a meeting
- at church
- at cinema
- at lunch
1. You mute your phone for an important meeting.
2. Hours later you have missed phone calls and messages because mute is still on!
3. You scream in anguish towards the sky, alarming everyone around you.
Mute 30 will mute your phone for 30 minutes. Just one touch... no configuration required. Touch icon again for an additional 30 minutes.
No special permissions, no stealing your personal information, no ads, no money! (I built this so I would stop performing step number 3.)
* App will remember if you were in Normal or Vibrate ringer mode
* If you change your ringer mode manually, Mute 30 disable itself automatically
* It is not a widget so you can dock it on the "hot seat" or any where
Possibilities for the future?
* Notify on expire - Buzz when the Mute 30 ends so you can see what you missed
* Calendar integration - Mute until end of current meeting
* Whitelist - Suppose you want your day care providers phone number to interrupt you
* Where would I put a settings screen?
Other apps do this already:
* Schedule when ringer is off/on - why isn't this part of Android!?
This tool can be useful when you are in a meeting or in a cinema hall.
This widget can also send a SMS reply to the caller when the phone is in silent mode.
1. Once downloaded, you create a home screen icon by clicking on the quick mute widget from app widgets
2. Clicking on the widget will show the configuration screen
3. Move the slider to the specified time you want the phone silent for
(Max 12 hrs with an interval of 30mins)
4. Select vibrate to set the phone to vibrate as an option
5. Select Send SMS reply and enter a text message if you want to send an auto reply to the caller
6. Click mute to make phone silent for the period specified
you can un-mute the phone any time by clicking on the widget
Once the specified time has elapsed, the phone will change back to the NORMAL mode.
(even if you are already in vibrate or silent mode)
PS: Make sure you have SMS text allowances if you set auto SMSreply
Don't Bother Me Until...! has been conceived for this task. We just have to choose between the two operational modes (until a specified time or during a specified time) and turn on the program. It will manage to get the sound back to our cell phone at the right time.

SmartSilence is a new silent mode scheduling app that allows you to easily plug in times during the week you want your phone to be silenced or on vibrate. When that time is over, the phone will simply go back into the mode it was in before. Plug in your work hours, your class hours, and any meetings, and the app will do the rest for you, every week. You can deactivate any of the schedules at any time with the click of a button.
Most importantly, SmartSilence was designed to be easy to use, with a simple and easy to look at interface. Create your silent schedule with no second-guessing or having to look at a Help menu.
NOTE: If you are having any issues with the schedule not activating, it is most likely because your phone has been turned off since you started the schedule, which cancels the schedules. This will be fixed in a future update, but all it takes for now is simply opening up the app after the phone is turned back on. Once the app is opened it will sync the phone back with all silence schedules again automatically.
What is in the Pro version?
SmartSilence Pro includes the ability to add one-time events as well, such as an interview or a one-time meeting. Plug it into the app while you are thinking about it, that way you don't have to make yourself try to remember to turn the phone on silence when the time comes. Once the event passes, it automatically deletes it from your schedule.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: How can I set a silent schedule for overnight?
A: If you set a schedule with an end time that is before the beginning time, the schedule is created to go overnight. As an example: if you want the phone to silence every Tuesday night from 10pm to every Wednesday morning at 8am, you set the schedule to Tuesdays (not Wednesdays) from 10pm to 8am. In the schedule list view, it will say (overnight) by the time to indicate the schedule will go overnight.
Q: The app says 'Click to get started' with an arrow that points to the settings menu. How do I create a schedule?
A: This is a bug with devices with smaller screens that also have their firmware updated to 4.0+. The arrow should be pointing to a '+' button. Simply press the menu button on your device and press 'Add' to bypass this until this is fixed with the next update.
As developer, I would emphasize the simplicity and robustness of the application, which reaches a compromise between attractive and minimalism. It doesn’t bother with a cumbersome set of parameters or options that are considered unnecessary to achieve its objective: to easily mute the phone during the scheduled time frame.
Install and open it, set your time frame and switch on the service. Then you can forget that the application is installed, it will take care of your tranquillity every day.
You will find no other application on the market as easy to use like this one.
Languages: English, French, Catalan, Galician and Spanish.
Backward compatibility: To 3.0 (Honeycomb)
Note that as of Android 4.2, Google doesn't let applications (like Togglr) control the airplane mode setting. That setting is only available on previous versions of Android.
Access Network State - Determine whether you have a network connection.
Access Wi-Fi State - Check the current status (enabled/disabled) of WiFi.
Bluetooth - Check the current status (enabled/disabled) of Bluetooth.
Bluetooth Admin - Enable or disable Bluetooth at certain times.
Change Wi-Fi State - Enable or disable WiFi at certain times.
Receive Boot Completed - Run the scheduler at startup.
Write Settings - Used for writing the Airplane Mode setting on pre-4.2 devices.
Then this is the app for you! You can fill in contact numbers that are important for you and you will hear there call even if your phone is on mute. You can specify various settings to enable the app between specific hours and to specify the call volume per contact and much more!
✔ Get important calls even when phone is muted
✔ Specify call volume per contact!
✔ Mute contacts by setting the volume to 0
✔ Enable important calls during specific times
✔ Access app quickly by notification icon
✔ NO internet needed
✔ NO adds
✔ FREE for the first 2 contact numbers*
* Prices for extra numbers can be wrong the first time you open the app.

You can still set the same manual silence timer and clock as the original Timed Silent!
Just like the previous version, Timed Silent 4.0 is a phone silencer which can set the ringer to vibrate mode either for a specified period, in 15 minute increments (maximum 8 hours), OR until a certain time, such as 3:21 PM. Never be embarrassed with your phone ringing during an important meeting or at a theater watching a movie. AND never again will you miss a call, text, or email because you forgot to turn your phone's ringer back on!
NEW User Interface! Timed Silent 4.0 now offers easy to use quick-tap buttons to silence the phone or un-silence the phone at any time. Switch between all phone silencing functions with a one finger swipe or tap. Ever forget how long you set your phone to silence? Now you can easily see when your phone is scheduled to un-silence on every page of the Timed Silent 4.0 app. You can easily un-silence immediately by touching the volume up button on your device.
The Calendar Sync feature detects the events your phone needs to be silenced for. This app will work with the Calendar service of any account you have synced on your device. Use Timed Silent 4.0 on all your phones and your Calendar event will be silenced on each one. To silence a Calendar meeting automatically, the event should be saved at least a minute or two in advance depending upon network activity. For immediate silencing, use the app's manual settings. This feature has been tested on Android 4.0 and should function on all future versions of Android.
An additional feature has been added to allow users to remove the advertisements shown at the bottom of the App. For a small In-App payment of $0.99 (US), all ads will be removed and you will get any future App upgrades (more coming... see below!) for free.
Future Planned Updates:
1) Ability to add/delete Calendar silence events and meetings easily within the App.
2) View a listing of all events on your Calendar and easily silence or un-silence each event with a simple checkbox.
3) Set a specified amount of time (up to 15 minutes) before or after each meeting starts and ends to silence your phone.
