About this app

Do you need to catch a flight yourself, or perhaps fetch someone from Vienna Airport? The Vienna Airport app gives you all the latest information and updates about your own flight or an important arrival on your Android phone. This means you are always informed about the current status of the flight and can enjoy your departure or meet a flight without stress. Simply enter the flight you wish to catch/meet, and the latest status reports are sent to you directly and displayed in the app. Please note that you require a data/Wifi connection for this app.

Features offered by the Vienna Airport app:
• Store a flight by scanning the QR/barcode, selecting from the current departure/arrival list or entering the flight number, as far in advance as you want
• Verification of desired flight approx. 24 hours ahead of time
• Information of departure/ arrival time, check-in area, Check-in counter, airline and gate
• Push notification of desired flight (information 24 h and 6 h ahead, gate open, boarding)
• Push notification of desired arrival (expected arrival time, approach, landing)
• Push notification of special flight events (gate change, delay, cancellation, diversion)
• Information about the parking facilities and the current availability

Ratings and reviews

App functions and has a good level of detail. Times all seem slightly odd, as it's the only transport app I have that uses 12hr clock, and mm.dd.yy format. For that reason, people travelling with the LH group may prefer to just use their LH/OS apps as these are less Americanized, and allow you to change language/region. (I'd honestly prefer the option to use German, if it meant the times/dates were right!)

Immature application that you can't easily stop from eating power and tracking your movements. Unable to upload a QR code from a screenshot of an electronic ticket, does not show boarding times which given that Austrian airlines issues boarding passes with boarding instead of departure times means you can't match the two. I could go on but clearly the designers don't travel...

Good app so far! But please open up the possibility to add also delayed flights to the app to see baggage claim info. As the original (no delay) arrival time is over, the app delets your flight and you have no chance to get any info over the app.
