Since June 1, 2026 the app does not process US/North America Credit Cards (Visa, MaterCard). I've used the app for years and never had a problem before and would have given a rating of 4 and even 5 stars. Wiener Lienen is aware and keeps saying they are working on a solution. HOWEVER, there is no problem with their payment processing system using the automatic ticket machines or buying a ticket at the counter in person. HOWEVER, the ticket will cost you more and no discount will be given.

Massive hassle trying to make an account. My brother was completely unable to continue past verification. Once I made an account when it tried asking for my address, using auto fill it somehow altered my salutation to my address?? So I had to manually enter it. Then, of course, I wasn't able to actually pay. I've seen that payment problem in a few other reviews so I know I'm not alone.

Useful but could be more helpful! I appreciate being able to keep my passes here (especially when I have to show it to the fare check people) BUT I do wish I could understand everything it tells me. I live in Wien but I don't speak or read German. When something happens (like a tram or train delay) I can look in the app and see that the information is in there but it's also in German and I can't even select the text to put in a translator. Either add language support or let me copy text.
