Can't control through touch I currently use a Samsung S tablet and I would love to play Deuterous however their is no way I can get the mouse cursor anywhere near where I am tapping. I have tried to setup the DPad to control the cursor but it just will not budge. As an emulator this is perfect but forget trying to play any game where you have to use the touchscreen as a mouse.
Don't know if it's my phone but I can't actually point it at the kickstart rom I have on my sd card because it won't browse to the directory. I am using adoptable storage so I think that may be the problem. My sd card is symlinked to /mnt/sdcard and also mounted at /emulated/0 but sdcard is not listed when I browse to /mnt and it wont let me choose anything deeper than /emulated/0 I have given the app access to storage.
Good program. Only thing pissing me off is that I cant get it to save games. I am currently trying to play Pool Of Radiance and cant get my newly created party to save. Says POOLSAVE is write protected. The adf file attributes state that it is read and write enabled so i dont get it. And I did rename the blank adf file to POOLSAVE. Cant play rpg games without being able to save ones progress. :( I run this program on an RCA android tablet with a usb joystick/game controller. Best way to play games is with a usb mouse or a controller of some sorts. Will upgrade to 5 stars if I can get this save issue worked out.
I downloaded Amiga essentials and it absolutely does not autodetect. Please include a link to a tutorial or some sort of trouble shooting tips in either the app or the description. I've looked up tutorials, but my Google Nexus 6 can not browse files through the file browsers in the app. Is there some error with input detection with some devices?
One time a pixel came straight at me with a knife. Crikey corblimey it's really good. Any chance of some hqx2 or sai filtering? Some of the amiga graphic stunners are looking a little erm pixelly these days :)
Update: Danger Will Robinson! (was: Impossible to mount ISO files) Update: This thing was suddenly asking me for root permissions and now I fear my machine might be compromised. Somebody should report this app to Google :-( Bullocks and BS, in the year of the lord 2016 *everybody* distributes bootable setups via ISO file, including all sorts of Amiga follow-up versions like AROS or MorphOS. Everyone but this emulator, who seems to be unable to mount ISO files at all :-(
