Ratings and reviews

Absolutely do not install, i'm warning you. App runs and looks like trash. They'll charge you additional fees just for using their platform, substantial ones too, during a trade and after per share exchanged. Horrible company. Only decent thing on this platform is the news section, and can't be accessed on the mobile platform the same way and even that is a mess because you can't filter it and the majority of the news will be useless. I'm warning you DO NOT INSTALL/OPEN AN ACCOUNT.

I wanted to get an IB account as it was recommended to me as a good service. So far, I have had nothing but issues at almost every step of the account opening. The KYC part was actually simple, no issues there. Logging in, getting started, funding, setting up 2 factor, etc have all been near impossible to do. Customer support is difficult to find as it always routes you to the FAQ. The app gave me a phone # to call that was a dead mastercard service of theirs. (Yes, I double checked the #).

Easy interface with many ways to invest. However, I don't like the fact that IBR doesn't offer free market data pricing overview, which is... Also, this is more towards options, you cannot buy or sell during the first 15 minutes of market open. This can be detriment if there is an immediate buy/sell signal. I've noticed my stop loss disappearing while being in a swing trade. Looking elsewhere in the meantime to better accommodate my needs.
