Process for 1. and 2.: You have to scale and type the rotor blade length (hole to end). Both blades has to show in the same direction. If you have 0 degrees pitch the blades have to be exact parallel. If you change pitch, the blades are moving apart. By using the gap between the blades you have the pitch value.
Process for 2.: By using the mobile camera it is enough to type a nearby blade length in the programpart 'calculate pitch'. After selecting the camera icon, you have to make a photo from your blades of the helicopter (like the title picture). Then you have to move the lines upon the blades. The ends of the blades are less important. Important is, that the lines are upon the blades (parallel).
Process for 3.: You can fix you mobile at a blade by using an elastic strap and read the pitch from the display.

The height and placing of the roof window have to be adjusted according to the pitch of the roof.
”The lower the roof pitch, the longer the roof window”. VELUX recommends that the top of the roof window is installed app. 200 cm above the floor.

Important gear parameters are revolutions per minute per volt (Kv), the engine voltage and the ESC value in percent.
The gear is defined with cog wheel positions at the shaft and the cogs from the cog wheel.

RC Speedo is a speedometer app for EDF's, pylon racers, pushers, and other hi-speed electric radio-controlled airplanes. The application performs doppler analysis on the sound of an RC airplane passing in front of the mobile device’s microphone. This method of finding an RC aircraft's speed was pioneered by RC enthusiasts to accurately calculate the speed of a radio-controlled airplane using a clean sound clip of the airplane making a speed run past the pilot.
With RC Speedo the process is greatly simplified: just bring your phone to the field and hit "listen". As you make passes with your favorite airplane, the app will report your speeds back to you in real time!
The Android RC Speedo app runs on any Android device running version 1.6 (Donut) or higher. RC Speedo requires the device to have a built in microphone in order to operate.
The RC Speedo app works best with electric RC aircraft that have high RPM, high blade count propulsion systems. This includes EDFs, pylon racers, pusher jets, and similar airplanes. RC Speedo currently will NOT work on planes that are extremely quiet, operate at low RPM's, turbines, most nitro planes, and planes with no propulsion system. It also cannot detect aircraft traveling slower than 25 MPH. RC Speedo will NOT work with helicopters.

This is no news for all of you who already know the Soko Kit.
The jewel you've all been waiting for is the VIRTUAL MAIN SHAFT feature! It gets rid of the vertical alignment of the main shaft and the need of any physical levelling table by calculating the tilt of your main shaft in 3D space.
With such a virtual 3D model of your heli's orientation, Soko Heli Toolbox is able to perfectly setup your head geometry.
For example if you want to setup 12° of collective pitch the app tells you to go to 15.2° on the Soko Gauge due to the tilt your heli. So despite you read an angle of 15.2° the angle in relation to the rotor main shaft in 3D space is 12° - and that's what we all are after!
But we won't stop here!

Location is required to determine the magnetic declination - the difference between magnetic north and true north (Hence the ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION Permission). If GPS/Network location is not available or turned off, then the location can still be entered manually.
Normally a compass needs to be level to get the correct reading, but this app uses the accelerometer reading to convert the magnetic field reading back to the horizontal plane. If you would prefer it to act like a real compass (which requires being level for a correct reading), in Settings > Mag North, select the magnetic north to point to the maximum field in the plane of the device.

Your device must have a Magnetic Field Sensor for this app to work. Magnetic field direction can be affected by nearby ferromagnetic material - Therefore move into a clear area and remove any metallic casing that might interfere with the sensor. Some sensors can become magnetized or gain an offset resulting in false readings – rotating the device around each of the three axis can sometimes help. Results depend on quality of magnetic sensor, so use for indication only.
With Calibrate button You can set any angle as reference, so You can measure angles relative to angle of chosen surface. Reset button set the ' Spirit Level ' in normal mode, where You can measure angles with respect to gravity.
Spirit Level is bubble level, carpenter's level or inclinometer with simple compass you have been looking for.
- Spirit Level is now with compass. Mode button switch between spirit level and compass.
- Spirit Level both functions available in both modes, only priority changes.
- On Spirit Level use green line for 0° degrees. Aline it with cross section for level.
- On Spirit Level calibration and reset to default are on same button

All available interfaces of mobile phone (GPS, accelerometers) are used for telemetry and internal camera can be remotely controlled to take pictures or video during a flight or a ride.
You never loose Your model now - "Show model on map" feature enables You to check model position based on its GPS coordinates just by one menu command execution.
An external module based on Arduino with Bluetooth interface can be used for battery measurements (LiPo, Li-Ion cell voltages), servo control and other IO functionality (Amarino communication framework must be installed to use this feature, application for Arduino is available for free download on our website). Using this piece of hardware extends telemetry capabilities a lot, but it is not necessary option, You can use all other features of MPBC without this module.
Telemetry data can be stored periodically for post-flight/ride analysis in CSV format using integrated data logger.
Data exchange between "board computer" and "remote client" goes through Internet and is managed by our MPBC server - this communication is enabled for subscribers only, so if You want to use this feature including up to 16 models telemetry configuration storage, please subscribe directly from MPBC application.

App CRASH when starting VIDEO recording ... reason - unsupported frame rate on some devices. Please try to set (and Save settings) higher frame rate than default 15fps (30fps successfuly tested on some newer Samsung devices). Will be solved in future version of MPBC.
Enter pitch and hit Angle to calculate angle, or enter angle and hit Pitch to calculate pitch.
Enter base length (or run) and the app draws a scaled diagram with angle, pitch and side lengths.
Tap ‘Measure Pitch + Angle’ and lay your Android on an incline to directly measure Pitch and Angle, then tap again to pre-fill inputs with measured angle and re-draw the diagrams.
Scroll down to a full screen diagram with current angles marked, to set your bevel gauge directly from the screen.
