Great way to find stations nearby and to keep track of fuel efficiency, which I love. Easy to enter in info every time you buy fuel so you don't have to worry about resetting the odometer. Only downside is that it relies on the community to update prices. There's no automated info. If the community is good about updating the prices in the area, then it's really helpful. It was most helpful in WA and near Darwin because people were much better about getting it up to date. In Melbourne, however, it wasn't as good since people don't update prices very often and even if they do, they don't update all the prices for all the different options. Wish there was some way to filter by most recent prices, so you know how likely the prices are to be accurate without having to click on every station. But all in all, a helpful app, particularly for road trips or if you're in an area where you don't frequently buy petrol an don't have a favorite spot.

I keep every fuel purchase and location and type in this app. It makes it incredibly easy to keep track of vehicle performance in order to detect any changes to fuel economy. I love it... And so will you! Only update that I'd like to see is the ability to categorise the previous fuel consumption with the type of driving that consumed it, e. g., regular residential, regular highway, highway towing, off-roading, off-roading towing and/or the ability to type in comments.

Whilst fundamentally an excellent and extremely useful app, it is badly let down by the numerous spurious petrol stations entered by people who obviously find this sort of behaviour funny. I keep on reporting them as I find them but they rarely if ever get deleted and often spring back up again as if their importance spreads beyond just petrol into more nefarious activities. Some genuine petrol stations also keep on being removed. Moral here is don't trust anything you see on the app that does not quote a current price, especially if it just has the generic orange logo. Overall, the spurious petrol stations are destroying the value of the app. Petrol Spy seems to be a much better and more reliable all overall.
