I loved the idea of this app. You don't need to carry cash with you, even cards. Very useful, really easy and quick to pay. There are lots of restaurants in Melbourne. Very good!
Was a really good, slick, signup experience until I entered my credit card details. Then received a "Cannot reach our payment service" error message. *sigh* It would also have been good to receive some assurances about how the credit card security is maintained.
Good app saves you real money. I hope continue growing, and compete with Entertainment Book. There are a few issues for improvements: 1. No Tax Invoice available. Some merchants do not issue tax invoice if paid through Liven, and Liven does not issue Tax Invoice as well. 2. Some merchants are not well controlled.
I really like the concept of Liven. Saved a lot of money through it and the weekly deals whilst enjoying phenomenal food from its partnering restaurants! Keep up the good work!
Didn't get a verification SMS after trying for over 3 days and multiple attempts to get a new one. Gave up.
UPDATE: In the end, I was contacted by a Liven agent, that helped me sort through the whole mess and apologised for the lateness in reply, as well as for falling short of customer's expectations. Even though the request I had made did not quite fit into their current system, the agent was patient enough to go through each step and rectify the balance as expected. Great job Bianca, thanks once again! :) I tried using it at New Thainatown, which is one of the new venues they added, and after we dined there and tried paying, the staff had no idea what we were talking about. They spoke very little english (!) so that made even more difficult trying to explain to them what this was all about. They tried calling one of the owners, and even they had no idea about Liven and the 'offer'. I emailed Liven with this complaint and received no response or even acknowledgment about the issue, which leads me to believe they are not a very serious, customer-focused business, and they cannot be bothered with resolving complaints about their service. If you do try to use the app, make sure to check the employees know what Liven is before dining there!
