The original app was great. This new one is impossible to use and understand. When you scroll through your transactions only the trans list moves, not the whole page. So your view is restricted. You cannot transfer funds between your own accounts, I have to switch to the web page to do that. I am yet to figure how to edit an existing recurring transaction without deleting it and starting again. I understand apps need to be updated and reviewed however you've gone backwards. You need to start again.
So many one stars because the service was unavailable for a short time? It's working now and the changes bring much more functionality to the mobile realm. Further, the ability to use a generated password over a six digit passcode is a long overdue security improvement.
Thanks for destroying internet banking. I can only look at balances and transactions but can't do a single useful thing. Don't wreck your internet banking by updating to this app. I just worked it out. To do transactions you go to "address book". My rating as 1 star still stands until you fix it so it makes logical sense. Also, the forced changing of passwords was really annoying.
The older version was much simpler and easier to access and review funds and finances. Yes, the new features are nice but when you're an app user you want things to be fast and simple. There is far too much clutter on each "page" which is making it lag and removes most of the "user friendliness" of the app. Consider paring down the flash new features to decrease the negatives.
I liked it the way it was before. It was easier to use. Layout was better. Doesn't have email receipts. Cannot refresh account balance. Didn't like the idea of setting up a whole new password followed by a pin just to use the app. Transferring funds and B-Pay needs to be improved. App doesn't close once logged off your account. Have to force close app every time
The new app is horrible to navigate and needlessly complicated. When you sign onto internet banking there's a high probability that you're there to transfer money or pay a bill. These options should be prominent in the drop down. I shouldn't have to scour through a cryptic options list to do the most basic internet banking.
- Quick Balance to easily view your account balances without logging onto the app;
- You can now easily add new Billers and Payees through the app;
- Set up future dated and recurring payments;
- Create and manage profiles so more than one person can securely use the same device; and
- Manage devices that you have registered to use the app.
