App crashes as soon as I launch it. Can you please fix this? All the other reviews are saying the exact same thing. It doesn't help that your website doesn't work either, so please fix the app. I must say, this is some terrible customer service. If this isn't fixed soon, I won't ever be able to recommend Optus to anyone, simply on the basis of not being able to check how much data I have left or when I get billed. Seriously disappointed by this blatent lack of care.
This latest update is all about making Optus App be able to track your data and be an advertising hub! No real new functionality here. I was happy with the previous version. Not particularly happy with this update. You've moved away from "functionality" as a priority and made data tracking to sell to your 3rd party advertisers! C'mon Optus... I PAY for my service and for my right to remain private and you're selling your customers out!! You claim that we can turn "data tracking function" off... but that is not true as I've checked all options and you don't make disabling this setting an option!!
"A system error has occurred. Please try again at a later time". This is what I get trying to access Perks, despite weeks of problems and multiple calls to Optus. You were meant to call me back yesterday with a fix to this. Unsurprisingly, you didn't. Why offer something if it doesn't work?!
Still cannot access billing (1/11/17). Have not been able to see or pay my bills through the app for around 2 months due to "A system error has occurred. Please try again at a later time." or similar messages. Works well enough for seeing usage and offers. (5/10/17)
Dont like the fact that this app want access to my sms and phone call. You have no right and now i cant view my usage and bills so i will go to a different provider. NOT HAPPY OPTUS
Install this app and my phone overheats, gets unstable and laggy and I need to reboot. Remove the app and the problems go away. I've tried reinstalling 3 times now, and every time the same problem. My phone is a lg v20, relatively new, so not underpowered. I will say though same thing does not happen to my wife's phone...
STILL cannot access 'Billing'.... what bugs did you fix? Clearly it wasn't any of the important ones. I hope you didn't pay money to have this app developed because it is garbage. Do we not pay you enough or something. Get your act together.
