Very happy I was pretty happy with this and very happy that the UI update didn't take away the things I really like but now I'm ecstatic as I have just realised that I can now choose which type of Map I want for the radar. Back to ordinary map view for me woohoo! My only tiny gripe is that for those of us who have older eyes, reading the light blue percentage rain figures can be a bit challenging. Thanks heaps for such a great app
Love the new GUI !!! Forget all other weather apps (they source their information from indirect sources). This app sources all its (extremely detailed) information straight from our Bureau Of Meteorology. Wind directions and speeds... temperature graph to show what the temp will be like at a certain time... radar showing where and when the rain is/will-be... this app is our aussie weather!!!! Worth the couple of dollars... worth every cent!!! See all warnings and know exactly when that change is gonna hit.
Prefer previous version Definitely prefer the pre-material design version. The app now looks too generic - although functionality is still there and is still terrific (even if it's not as pretty). Bonus star for the "wake up and smell the lamb" comment in update notes!
The best for Oz weather Still no competition for this app and it's great to see long term support - so often apps just die and stop getting updated. Great work guys. I would to be able to reduce the update interval, but there don't seem to be any settings for it. The less it updates, the less it eats my battery...
Good but need some improvement The app ui is smooth, simple. Take a bit of time to study what the data inside actually mean. Like I can find the possibility of rain for certain time. Widget has a small bug which I cant make it fully transparent, change in the setting but not working.
What was the best weather app now isn't. Simple as that. Wastes 2/3 of the iPad screen, have to search for things that were all on one screen. Constantly shows four days ahead on opening to view. Needs to show current day, and then we can look ahead. Using Yahoo weather now. AccuWeather is also a great alternative.
- Is it dark out: First and last light added to today info
- What's up with the rain: Fixed a bug that could cause the radar to show incorrect data
- You're pinching it wrong: Fixed data being cut off on the fullscreen today page, improved zooming
- Live in the now: current temperature added into the 3 hourly forecast card
- MOAR: fixed much more than we can list here
- And for all those asking 'WHY IS THERE A KOALA NEXT TO THE 26TH?!' It's Australia day people. Wake up and smell the lamb.
