Been using it for years and have loved it. The past few months though, a lot of the files have continuity issues. it will randomly skip back a few minutes or jump ahead an hour. It's not actually seeking, it's the file that seems out of order. Sometimes files are twice as long because the whole podcast is doubled. I do not have this issue with the same episodes on Spotify. Temporarily changing until this is fixed...

I like the app functionally especially setting up a play next list but I've been having a regular problems. Podcasts audio reverse back about a minute and replay. Sometimes an entire section of the stream is missing and I've had to use other apps to listen to though portions so it's not from the original creater. Very frustrating when you're listening to a compelling story to be bounced around seemingly randomly. Fyi, it's not skipping or rewinding, i can scroll back and find the point it skips.

Been going great since switched from Google podcasts for months. Much more user friendly and the app has helped me discover loads of new podcasts. Suddenly started a new issue, after I pause the player and don't return for awhile, when I come back it's not where I left off. I find it in the next podcast in my que as if it kept playing. This has happened several times now. Did a change happen with a recent update to cause this fault to start occurring?

Thanks for the review! To assist with your issue, it would be helpful to have a little bit more information. Please share the debug logs with us. You can send those to us by reaching out through the Pocket Casts app via Profile > Settings > Help & Feedback > Get in touch. The logs will automatically be attached to your message.

What's new

Gonna have to level with you: each release is a constant struggle between adding and removing bugs, and occasionally we have to make an effort to remove more than we added. Thus I have to say with much reluctance: “Bug fixes and performance improvements”.
