Awesome. Its a lot of fun. I find that learning to use it is sometimes half the fun. For a guy thats not all that computer compatible you made the app very user friendly and also thanks for the tutorial. Ive made a lot of pictures with it. Only drawback is on some it takes a while for the higher pixel rates to generate but I understand why. Higher resolution takes longer. Thanks again
No instructions on use on so called Help page. Only examples. Useless as a rezult. So yes, 1.
This app is absolutely stunning!! Very hands on. Mathematics made visual for your viewing pleasure! I'm not a mathematician...but I do love fractals and fractal zoom videos, and for the longest time I have wanted to explore different points in different sets. Everyone usually does the Mandelbrot, so I'm extremely excited to play with a few other ones. For me, reading the Help file was a must, and I almost quit...glad I stuck it out. Eventually it might help to have a visual walkthrough, because apparently for half of the reviewers, reading is a dying art. :/ I found the controls pretty smooth for what this is. I don't think people understand how many calculations have to be run to generate one image of one section in the set. That's not lag. That's probably more thinking than most people do in a lifetime. Rather amazing when you think about it. I do however wish I didn't have to re-render an image after I switch the color palette. But that's a minor thing. If all you're looking for is automated fractal zooms and pretty pictures, this app may not be for you. That's okay. Just don't leave a 1. Move along...this is not the app you're looking for. Anyway...Thank you devs for creating an amazing app that allows me to dig through all the little nooks and crannies! It's sort of like taking my brain on a good, long hike...I get lost and then when zooming back out it looks like the Google Earth equivalent of where I've been in the set. I'm honestly surprised at how deep the zoom goes. Fantastic job!!
Very awesome and stunning generation. The only drawback for me is that some of the menus close when i intend to open them. [Specifically the 2D automatas]. Still good simulator overall.
Pretty awesome app.. Just going through the Open GL samples is kinda cool.. Also, no adds gets an automatic star or two these days.. Definitely worth checking out. Thanks
DO NOT GET, I got this thinking it was going to be fun to zoom in on a fractal, but an hour later my BRAND NEW PHONE THAT RAN GREAT was lagging like it was made in 1823. It was so laggy that I couldn't reset my phone, so I had to force my phone to shut off by prying out my battery. I almost broke my phone doing this. Again, DO NOT GET.
1. Added more color palettes. 2,266 total palettes.
2. Added more sample GLES shaders. 1,668 total shaders.
3. Added Delete option to remove shaders that are incompatible with device.
4. Fixed instabilities with pinch zooming.
5. Fixed out of index bug that sometimes occurred with Buffalo Fractals.
6. Fixed spinners' dropdown text colors so they are more visible.
7. Fixed bug in GLES shaders that date.w was passed as current second rather than seconds since midnight.
