Each story only opens when you're in the right location and from the start point can either follow one path or branch off into dozens of different locations around the city (and which ones you visit will depend on the path you pick through the adventure).

Whether it's fiction or non-fiction, a musical journey or scavenger hunt, all stories on Story City are made by creators - writers, theatre makers, musicians, game designers, film makers or tours guides - who know their cities best.

Ratings and reviews

I had a frustrating experience. The app kept freezing and needing to be restarted, but I couldn't log-in except when I was on wifi, so I couldn't restart the adventure while we were out on our excursion. Also, sometimes only some of the adventures would load, so even before we left the hotel I had to repeatedly restart the app.

I was expecting more. The locations were not well thought out or relevant to the story. The first location was close to a construction zone and there were no picnic tables anywhere. The riddles were lame. Things I liked, dressing up, spending time with my kids, and seeing a different part of the city. Cool concept could be played much differently. Would have packed our own props if we knew there would not be any.

seriously no need at all to pay for each individual. second, the app and functionality of maps in the app are terrible. don't waste the effort.
