Amazingly fleshed out, a wonderful story. I started with Their Souls Were Eaten, and I can't put it down. It's addicting, it's alluring, and it's one of the best fantasy worlds I've seen since Harry Dresden. The only problem is that I ran out of video ads to earn more tickets. I thought that couldn't happen, but I guess I was wrong. I'd rate it lower if it were that big of an issue, but it really doesn't bother me that much. All in all, it's a wonderful story, and I'd love to see more. I just wish there was a way to earn more story tickets at a time.
This is without a doubt the best game I have ever played. The stories are amazingly well developed and I really feel like I am in controls of how the story progresses. After binge playing it for 3 days strait a few times I have caught myself thinking what would I do instead of what would my character do. It is truly a work of art.
So many people don't understand that if the game was purely free, the developers would be unable to update the story due to a lack of income. The storys are amazingly told, and the ticket system is not as bad as people make it seem. A 30 sec ad gives 6 tickets, play a game or watch something while occasionally clicking the watch ad button will get you hundreds of tickets to use after some time, or just buy the story pass. I'm tired of negative reviews based on "Bait and switch, should be completely free, ext"
Not sure if all the positive feedbacks are legit. I just start playing the Sun, and I got really sleepy after I got to the part where I choosed to chase after the suspect on the bus. There should be more options such as waiting for the bus to stop or try talking to the suspect, instead of forcing us to pick a single option and that's to stop the bus. That's very counterproductive, it's like trying to distracted yourself when you're in control. The next part is even worse, first getting knock out in the alley without much details, second the suspect stole your revolver but leave your phone and other valuables such as Sole dairy intact. And finally, if that suspect is Sole murderer, the game should end once you got knocked out. Just imagine you're a cold-blooded assassin, and someone with a revolver is coming after you, but you get to knock em out without much efforts, what's your next options?
Alright, I don't write reviews, but I felt obligated to write one for this interactive story app. I spent about 5 straight hours into this and I was completely enthralled. Without giving any spoilers allow me to say that the story is amazing until now (second act) it all happens in England. I'm also not the type of person that enjoys reading, but after you get a taste of this you'll love it. There's only a slight con to this, it is not free therefore you either buy a season pass which is very cheap or you can watch an ad that will give you a few tickets in order to progress (trust me it's worth it). I never thought I'd say this, but I'm glad this app game thing exist. I love it.
This was by far one of the most amazing choose your own adventure stories. I just finished And Then The Sun Went Out, and I'm still a combination of heartbroken and happy. Thank you for making this.
