A great game brought up to date with a free minor quibbles I loved the original ff game books tin man have brought the concept into the 21 st century. Whilst the story is great at the same time the dice game part of it can be a little tedious sometimes rolling rolling rolling can be a little arbitrary, but then the fact you can unlock locked choices means you can skip ahead anyway not unlike the original when you'd failed for the third time. So it's all the gain with no pain unless you want to be hard core. Great game, great experience. Thanks Tin Man Games.
Similar to 'House of Hell' by means of... The "phobia" factor introduced to the game play - HoH fear points reminiscent here. Battles with 8 legged enemies take on a new twist now, as the hero in this story has a fear of spiders! Really enjoyed the story and pacing of this book, it's a well balanced adventure yarn and more of a challenge than previous titles too. GA are all well put together and worth every penny. I'm well & truly hooked on these game books from TMG. Can't wait for 'Bloodbones'!!
Buggy, but fun. Well, for some reason the game wants to name me "the tin man" no matter what I name myself AND give me unlimited bookmarks (it always shows you have 10 remaining) in classic mode. WTF, that takes all the challenge out of it. If I wanted to play like that Id choose casual. Did the latest update release a dev test copy or what? Itd be great if this was fixed, its a good gamebook otherwise. Id give it 5 stars if it wasnt bugged out.
Really enjoyed all of these game books.
Waste of time You only get one re-roll from a shake. That's pathetic when you face the idiotic challenges of the latter part of the non-story. After getting snake eyes four times in a row, I'm done. Don't waste your time or money.
Great book Except.. The ultimate ending.. is literally a paragraph long. Wtf?
Updated to the latest engine, this means that there is now landscape support, higher resolution graphics, and better support for tablets and high-resolution devices.
Also updated the version number to bring it in line with other platforms
As always, if you have any troubles, let me know!
