All tide times are displayed in the local time at the tide location and are adjusted for daylight saving if applicable.

Tide heights & distances can be shown in metric or imperial units.

Shows statistics on tide times and tide heights such as the highest tide for each year, the lowest tide for each year, the largest spring tide for each year, and the smallest neap tide for each year.

Once the initial data file is downloaded & cached, an internet connection is no longer required so you can view tides anywhere.

Ratings and reviews

I've been able to use this app to easily and successfully plan trips and determine tide times in my local area. The volume of data provided is sufficient for my needs, with only a few (minor) location omissions that I've been able to see. It's got a clear and easy to read UI, just a pity that you need to select the date each time you change location (unless it's for the current day). Not a deal breaker though -it's all so easy to use.

Nice app. I'm impressed. I was looking at the very comprehensive list of nearby tides and not paying too much attention. I thought that the six digit number under the location was longitude and when I went looking for the latitude, I realised they were compass bearings. I'm in S21 E149 country so the first 3 digits were an obvious giveaway. Three decimal places, I think, is massive overkill for a compass bearing. That said, while mildly amusing, it in no way detracts from the app.

Love this app. Use it for tide times for beach access/walks. Plus sunrise/sunset times (can be months in advance) for long distance travel to avoid travelling in dark on country roads, to from ferry, etc, ditto moonlight. Clear, easy to use and read app. ps. took me a while to work out the little 'critters' were just for fun.
