An incredible idea! Given the amount of phones that are around, the insane and growing computing ability of modern phones, and helping cure the big one - cancer. The app is laid out simply and effectively. You know what project you're working towards, how many calculations you've done, and how close the project is to completion. My only feedback is that the app doesn't seem to properly use background permissions for Oreo, or perhaps it's just a bug - but there will be nights I'll specifically start the app, but when I wake up it's only done 1 or similar calculations. My app management has obviously closed the app in the background, despite me turning off battery optimisation for this app specifically.
Really like the app, a schedule option or trigger option be handy. New OS settings seem to stop it kicking in unless I open it first. Any chance of option to override when a battery is not connected, I would like to use it on Google tv box given it sits idle 90% of time.
I simply love this app. I am not blessed enough to have any money to donate, I can barely keep myself going most months. But with DreamLab, I feel like I'm able to contribute even if I can't donate money. I am proud to donate my phone's processing power to help others, and I highly recommend this app to everyone I know.
Easy to use app and for a good cause. If you could set a time to automatically start doing calculations if plugged in to charge, or when charging in general, people would contribute so much more. Cause I often forget to start it up when I go to sleep.
Great concept and noble goal. However, it could've been so much more efficient if the problem solving is done on PC or Mac computers. Mobile phones don't have much processing power, and are not designed to crunch numbers for long hours
Marvelous idea, i have unlimited nbn and more mobile data than we use on average. If i happen to need the mobile data, i can turn it off. Why is this not brought to the public attention. I am certain a lot more people would install it, if they knew about it. Keep up the good work.
