"Above average temperatures are likely in the southern half of the US this spring, while northern parts may still see some winter-like weather, especially early in the season. Despite these lingering cold bursts, spring warmth and rainfall will accelerate snowmelt across the north-central and northeast, raising the risk of river flooding. The West and Southwest look drier than average this spring, and drought conditions in the South could persist well into the season. Elevated wildfire risk also remains a concern across California and parts of the Southeast.

Our meteorologists are also keeping a close eye on the Pacific Ocean, with El Niño conditions potentially shaping weather patterns across the U.S. as we get closer to summer. As always, be sure to check your local weather forecasts and warnings.”

Update - so the app is working again however it includes the sunset last light time as 5.08pm, it's now 5.10pm and still daylight! At least the other bugs got fixed...

Pretty please reinstate previous widgets. The old scrollable one showing daily forecast with the choice to make your system clock and alarms available was the best widget of any weather app - showed all the info you could want in a compact footprint. The only new one designed to show multiple upcoming days is smaller, but that's not much use when the numbers are so tiny they're illegible. And no clock. I used this app for years, with the widget smack at the top of my home screen, not any more.

thanks guys, I appreciate having barely any info in my widgets compared to before, as well as them being able to double as opening both the clock app for alarms and timers, and the weather app. man it really sucked having that convenience. im glad they removed it... edit: dont be confused, i was joking because you've made some terrible decisions. I've been a user for over 16 years but I'm off the app now.

Our new Hourly and Daily Forecast widgets have just landed! It’s a snapshot of your most important weather conditions right on your home screen. Feel free to configure what’s displayed, including the widget’s size and background theme. If you are using any of the classic widgets, you’ll notice that they have now been removed to make way for the new upgraded versions – simply add and resize accordingly.
