ELSA Location and Arrangement is part of the Early Learning STEM Australia (ELSA) Pilot, funded by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training and managed by the University of Canberra.
This app is only for children attending preschools participating in the 2018 ELSA Pilot. It is the second ELSA children’s app, following Patterns and Relationships.
In order to use this app, educators taking part in the pilot will need to connect it to the ELSA Educators app using a code.
The ELSA Pilot is a play-based digital learning program for children in preschool to explore
science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). ELSA apps are aligned to the Early Years Learning Framework.
ELSA Location and Arrangement is full of opportunities for children to play and engage with STEM Practices while moving objects and using positional language, hiding and finding animated animal cards, arranging playground equipment on a map, and following directions to navigate through a zoo.
