myID is the Australian Government’s Digital ID app (formerly known as myGovID).

Join over 12 million Australians using myID. Use your myID for a secure and convenient way to prove who you are when accessing government online services. It’s like the 100-point ID check, but on your smart device. No sharing of your physical personal ID documents.

Access over 140 federal, state and territory government online services with the myID app. One app to verify who you are, taking the hassle out of remembering different usernames and passwords. Once set up, you can enable your device’s biometrics security feature such as fingerprint or face for added security. This is to protect your identity and help prevent other people accessing your information.

Your personal information won’t be shared without your permission – putting you in control. myID is accredited by the Australian Government Digital ID System which strictly controls how your identity data is collected, stored and used.

Your myID is unique to you – don’t share it with others.

Zero unfortunately not possible. Not sending out the confirmation emails to set up account at them moment. Stopped at the first hurdle. Luckily, there is NO alternative method on web browser to register. The iPhone version is even worse - geoblocked to Australia accounts only; since Australia is the world and there are none of us living abroad. What a complete piece of "brought to you by your tax dollars" piece of work. (How does one recognize the government app? It is the one that does not work.)
