Its pretty good but still has isues. At 3pm 22/2/24, the app said it was 25.6 degrees at Bellbrae, 3228. I know for a fact that it was 38 degrees in the shade on our deck. I have noticed this temperature discrepancy before. Also when I tried leaving feedback on my iPhone, the keyboard obscures part of the screen and I couldn't see what I was writing. Finally, I have asked about barometric pressure but that must be too hard for BOM.

Diminished after update. The last update, "added 3 new widgets", actually meant, "replaced existing widgets with these new ones", and as a result, the useful, to me at least, "4×1" widget was removed. I had this in a stack with 2 other 4×1 widgets, but that is not an option anymore. I don't want a widget that requires so much vertical space, so the App is less useful than before. Was my preferred weather App, now time to find another.

Hi David, thanks for your feedback. Some improvements are in the pipeline, including how the daily weather widget re-sizes. This means the smaller option will show the data that you're used to. The larger options will continue to provide extra details, such as forecast rain and 'feels like' temperature. Keep watch for these improvements soon.

The widgets STILL don't show the current temp regardless of how they're resized. You said ages ago that you were working on a fix. There have been updates, yet it still doesn't work. Just bring back the old 4x1 widget. It was perfect. Other than that, the most accurate weather app for Australia. Turn off battery optimisation for the app and allow it to run in the background, otherwise the widget won't update.

Thanks for the feedback. Current temperature is visible at all sizes. Try opening and closing the app to refresh the widget. At smaller sizes it prioritises details: current temperature, then min/max values, followed by 'feels like' temperature and forecast rain. Your device resolution, zoom, and layout also affect what you see in the widget.

What’s new

In this release, rain notifications and hourly UV forecasts are now available. You can get notified when rain is approaching, for up to 3 locations. It’s also easier to swap between rain and warnings on the map.
