Mostly works as advertised. Provides good temperature, wind and rain forecasts. One thing that's a little weird is that it always shows 0% chance of rain in the hourly forecast, even when the written forecast says there will definitely be rain. It used to show this data but I've noticed it's been gone for the last few months. (Checked on multiple Android devices)

Its pretty good but still has isues. At 3pm 22/2/24, the app said it was 25.6 degrees at Bellbrae, 3228. I know for a fact that it was 38 degrees in the shade on our deck. I have noticed this temperature discrepancy before. Also when I tried leaving feedback on my iPhone, the keyboard obscures part of the screen and I couldn't see what I was writing. Finally, I have asked about barometric pressure but that must be too hard for BOM.

Still has all the info as the old app albeit laid out differently, but where the old app loaded instantly the new version takes around 10-15seconds to load. It mighnt seem like much but its a huge step backwards to what it was. The popup for rain radar is annoying amd manages to cover future temps when you load up forcing you to scroll instead of seeing everything on one page. It needs to be a seperate window like it used to be. I think ill be looking for another app now.

Thank you for the feedback regarding your experience. The previous release was built in 2016 and we've had to implement this update to meet evolving technology requirements. This release has been developed to improve overall user experience and was guided by community engagement and customer feedback.

What's new

This release introduces warnings on the map. You can now see a wide range of active warnings and the areas they apply to. Tap on the map to get warning details. We've also fixed some bugs including a fix for crashes on Android 6 & 7 devices.
