Its pretty good but still has isues. At 3pm 22/2/24, the app said it was 25.6 degrees at Bellbrae, 3228. I know for a fact that it was 38 degrees in the shade on our deck. I have noticed this temperature discrepancy before. Also when I tried leaving feedback on my iPhone, the keyboard obscures part of the screen and I couldn't see what I was writing. Finally, I have asked about barometric pressure but that must be too hard for BOM.

Diminished after update. The last update, "added 3 new widgets", actually meant, "replaced existing widgets with these new ones", and as a result, the useful, to me at least, "4×1" widget was removed. I had this in a stack with 2 other 4×1 widgets, but that is not an option anymore. I don't want a widget that requires so much vertical space, so the App is less useful than before. Was my preferred weather App, now time to find another.

Hi David, thanks for your feedback. Some improvements are in the pipeline, including how the daily weather widget re-sizes. This means the smaller option will show the data that you're used to. The larger options will continue to provide extra details, such as forecast rain and 'feels like' temperature. Keep watch for these improvements soon.

As others have pointed out, the new version since the "upgrade" is garbage. radar maps don't load anymore, calls the play integrity API now for some unknown reason, and pulls in third party mapbox dependency. the widgets are useless because they don't auto update. whoever is responsible for this trash should be fired. bring back the old app, it was 100x better and just worked.

Thanks for the feedback Kaine. We take all feedback onboard. If you can test the app again and let us know if the maps are loading for you now. Also if you can check if you have location set to Always for your widget. This may be preventing it from refreshing data. Let us know so we can investigate.

What's new

In this release, rain notifications and hourly UV forecasts are now available. You can get notified when rain is approaching, for up to 3 locations. It’s also easier to swap between rain and warnings on the map.
